Ms. Sky Blue Pit Bull

Sky is a 12 year old blue pit bull.
Sky had a wonderful, loving owner, who adored her. Sky's owner couldn't keep her, and worked hard to get her into a good rescue where she could be safe and loved.

Sky at Home

Sky is dog selective. She prefers males her own size, or larger. She has a high prey drive, and would do best without small, fluffy, housemates.  She requires a slow intro, but has done amazingly with both of her foster bothers after the first few days.

She loves to snuggle, and will happily spend all day on the couch, and every night in bed with you. She also has some manners, and will happily sleep in her dog bed, or crate if asked.

She is a sweetheart of a girl who wants nothing more than her own family to love, that loves her back.

Old Girls and New Tricks

Sky is calm, loving, and great with children. She's low key, and non reactive, even when the little ones are running around crazy.
She does amazing with kids of all ages, babies and toddlers included. She has an ocean of patience for tiny people.

Sky is an elderly girl, but she's still got lots of energy. She's low key, and will happily sleep most of the day in her crate, but also loves to go on walks and play fetch.

She's an amazing, loving dog, that really deserves to spend the rest of her years in a loving home.

Because of this the rescue is offering a "long term foster," program with Sky. That means that, you agree to house her for the rest of her years, and the rescue will pick up any medical expenses she may incur.  According to our vet at her last check up, she's in amazing health, and has a lot of playful years left in her.
